February Fun Fest

Sipapu’s most popular annual event, February Fun Fest has been a family-favorite for decades. The President’s Day weekend celebration includes a giant snow castle, a costume contest and parade (Saturday only), treasure hunts, games, prizes and more! For more information, call 800-587-2240.

February Fun Fest Agenda for Saturday, February 16:


Snow Castle Opening
Time: 9 a.m.

Description:
Every year, Sipapu builds its trademark snow castle, a huge structure filled with stairs, slides, flags and plenty of places to play, just for February Fun Fest. Join us when we unveil this year’s creation and open the castle for all to explore!


Treasure Hunt
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Description:
Our annual treasure hunt is cross between scavenger hunt and adventure! Search our mountain for laminated letters, and when you find enough to spell CLOWN, return them to our store for a prize!


Costume Contest
Time: 1:15 (after the parade!)

Description:
Kick off February Fun Fest in style by competing in our costume contest! Judges will be posted around the mountain, judging outfits on Saturday – the best three costumes will win a prize!


Kids' Art Project
Time: 12:00 p.m.

Description:
Sipapu is proud to announce that Twirl Toystore and Playspace will be at February Fun Fest on Saturday with one of their amazing art projects for your kids! You'll find them and their colorful booth at the base area in the afternoon. http://www.twirlhouse.com/


Costume Parade
Time: 1 p.m.

Description:
Everyone in costume is invited to participate in the annual Costume Parade! Dressed-up skiers and snowboarders meet at the top of Lower Gamble and wind their way back to the base area to display their costumes and wave to the crowd. This is always a great photo opp – you won’t want to miss it!


Penny Toss
Time: 2 p.m.

Description:
For kids 8 and younger - try to pick up pennies in your snow, with your gloves on! It's not as easy as it sounds...
