2013 CARDBOARD DERBY RULES
Build your own vehicle (made of cardboard, duct tape, string, twine and paint only) and race it down the mountain for your chance to win a prize (we're giving away hundreds of dollars in giveaways!)

All ages and vehicle sizes are welcome – perfect for families!

Divisions:

Junior (ages 12 and under)
• Solo
• Team (up to 5 people)

Teen (ages 13-20)
* Solo
* Team

 Adult (ages 21 and older)
• Solocrowd
• Team (up to 5 people)

Rules:

• All Cardboard Derby crafts must be constructed using cardboard, duct tape, string or twine and paint only. Any other materials used will result in disqualification.
• Helmets are required (some available at the race).
• The objective is to successfully negotiate and complete the Cardboard Derby course with your vessel and all team members intact!

 

Judging:

• Entries will be awarded points based on how close they hit the bull’s eye at the end of the course.
• The vessel with the most points wins!
• Prizes will also be awarded for creativity, construction and costumes.derbyphoto2
