Sipapu has partnered with area school and homeschool classes for generations, teaching young students how to safely ski or snowboard. Open to any New Mexico school for students in first grade through high school, this program (offered Monday through Friday only - groups can attend as few as two times, up to multiple visits) offers a unique outdoor learning experience for all skill levels. Sipapu also partners with Highlands University and Northern New Mexico College to offer an eight-week PE class, available for class credit. The course typically begins in mid-January and meets on Sunday afternoons. During the eight lessons, students will learn to ski or snowboard or how to improve their skills. To enroll, contact Highlands University or Northern New Mexico College, or (if you are interested in taking this course as continuing education and do not need or want college credit) register directly through Sipapu.
